The aims of the project are:
COASTENERGY is a project that deals with the analysis, assessment and promotion of energy potential and infrastructure in ports and coastal urban areas in the Adriatic region to facilitate business ventures, organizations and other interested parties, primarily focusing on thermal energy and marine wave energy. Initiatives will guarantee sustainable development and conservation of the marine and land ecosystem and be consistent with other activities in the coastal area of the Mediterranean such as fishing, tourism, and the maritime industry.

Partners in the project:
The duration of the project is 30 months. Project started with implementation on 1st of January 2019 and is ongoing until 30th of June 2021.
The project benefits from public funding from European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) of 1.569.712,00 € and national co-financing of 277.008,00 € giving the total budget of 1.827,670 €.
