Summer school on energy planning of 100% renewable energy systems is centered on energy and climate planning and modelling of smart energy systems and exchange of experiences with experts in the field. A special focus will be on the improvements of existing energy planning tool and models, with improved data management, policy, and scenario assessment, as well as systematic dynamic modelling of relevant environmental, economic, social, and technological variables. Finding a new and improved representation of smart energy systems is a key issue in calculating policy scenarios and their emissions.
